Using Komoot

Komoot is a very capable app that has the capability of replacing both Ride With GPS and a Garmin satnav – by using your smartphone on the bike. However we cannot support multiple programs and for the purposes of adding clickable links to the Runs List and Runs Library we prefer Ride With GPS.
It is evident that Komoot is becoming increasingly popular within the club it is felt that it would be useful to provide some guidance relating to setup options and the process for transferring routes from RideWithGPS onto Komoot.
This guidance assumes that you have an account with Komoot.
Settings
When starting to use Komoot it is worth considering some of the additional features that are available particularly in relation to the privacy settings. To that end the YouTube video How to Use Komoot - New Privacy Settings and Features will be of interest.
These links will give a good introduction to Komoot.
